Fantastic lender with a top notch staff. My loan experience was incredibly stress free thanks to Veterans United.
i was excited to work with veterans united, and the system seemed good, but our experience with our loan officer was abysmal. the extent to which he was unresponsive left all parties involved frustrated and resulted in a closing being pushed back repeatedly. you'd think people would work harder knowing you've been living place to place with 4 kids for almost two months, but because nothing was certain we burned up our road stake living with other people and have had to deal with 50yr old urine soaked carpets while living in the house. o yes, and our loan officer also knew we didn't have a safe and functional shower in the house and still didn't push to get us in on time. not sure how the appraiser missed that since one of the showers literally had a sign on it saying the pipes were disconnected, and the other one clearly has a sunken floor under the bath tub, but we're just really glad to finally be in our own house. if you go with veterans united, just don't go with tony meis, and make sure to push for a timely appraisal!
Response from Veterans United
Hello Thomas, we take your feedback seriously and we appreciate your willingness to acknowledge this situation. We care deeply about your experience and a member of our Client Advocate team would love an opportunity to discuss this with you in greater detail. It is always our goal to strive for improvements, and acknowledge any mistakes made along the way. Our team will be researching your appraisal process to determine what our team may do in the future to help prevent a similar closing delay. The appraisal process is managed directly by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and we understand how the home buying process can become stressful when working to overcome an unexpected delay. While we cannot change the experience you had we are committed to accountability and furthering our ability to provide an outstanding client experience. Thank you for sharing your voice and valuable feedback.
Excellent service from Terri March and the road to pre-approval to follow through with Melissa Price Taylor and Travis Ward’s team.

If you want a great experience with home buying Veterans United is the way to go. So helpful and resourceful. As a first time home buyer, I didn't know much of the verbiage or what even to expect, but Veterans United had exactly what I needed to understand what was going on. From the videos explaining the process you were currently going through to the immediate assistance to answer any questions I had. Bonus, they even send you links to useful offices or services you might need at your new address.
